Our window and door frames use laminated timber selected for strength, stability and thermal performance. Compared with conventional aluminium framing, timber is much less thermally conductive, which can help keep internal frame surfaces warmer and reduce condensation risk. Actual condensation performance still depends on the complete window specification, indoor humidity and outdoor conditions.
If you prefer the low-maintenance exterior of aluminium, we can also supply timber-aluminium systems that retain timber internally with protective aluminium cladding outside.

We currently use larch sourced from Mongolia; Siberian Larch is no longer part of our supply chain. Larch remains a popular choice for its durability, strength and attractive natural character. European pine is also available as a cost-effective option, and we can supply oak and spruce for projects where those species better suit the design.

Yes. The supplied window and door hardware is designed to allow adjustment during installation and servicing. The available adjustment depends on the particular hinge, locking hardware and system, so we can provide project-specific guidance where required.
Standard wood frames have an R-value of 0.83 but we can supply frames with higher R-values that are Passive house certified.
Double glazing comes with an R-value of up to 0.9. Triple glazing will be up to R-2.0 or even higher if Krypton gas is used instead of Argon.
We are a supply only company but, to ensure proper installation we can brief your builder prior to installation and/or spend the first day on site with your installation crew to explain the system and installation method.
